Dave & Ida Mohr's '68

Car info: My second 68 Chevelle Malibu is also a California car. I first spotted it in about 1988 or 89. The third owner was driving it down the street in Grand Island were I worked. I later met the owner, and of course the car was not for sale! He had brought the car with him when he moved from California. 20 years later, he got a divorce and had to sell the car. (How many times have we heard that story?) It needed a lot of T.L.C., you see, mice had made it their home for about 5 years. Needless to say all the interior is all new, and if it hadn't had such rust free body, someone else would have owned it. I had it re-painted the original color of Ash Gold. The top is black vinyl, but originally it was painted white. I slammed it 1.3 inches w/ibach springs and put on 15" American torque thrust 200 w/custom back space. For now, its a nice driver. Maybe down the road I'll put in a crate motor with some more horse power, but now, it runs pretty good for an old guy thats pushing 70.
