Peter & Cheryl Eppens's '68

Car info: I purchased my 68 Chevelle SS approx. 2 years ago, and have been working on it constantly. When I brought it home, it was smoking from under the hood from rear main seal leak, oil pan leaks, intake manifold leaks, along with a leaking gas tank, and a leaking transmission cover seal. I bought it with the intention of working on the vehicle with my son. I had a 1972 Chevelle when I was 18 years old, and have always loved the chevelles. This vehicle is a true SS, but doesn't have the original numbers matching motor. It currently has a 454 big block with a Holley 4 barrel carburator. Estimated 375 HP. I have chromed out a lot of the engine, along with all of the repairs for leaking seals. It has a 3 speed TH400 automatic transmission, with 12 bolt rear end with 3.55:1 posi. It has disc brakes all around, which was not standard for this year. Matador Red with white vinyl top. Black interior with Bucket cloth seats. I'm still wanting to get the interior restored to a black vinyl. Some of the items I have worked on our replaced include:
Replaced front and rear shocks
Replaced carburator & air cleaner
HEI Coil
Spark plugs & plug wires
Fuel pump and gas tank
Front upper & lower control arm bushings
Front & Rear Bumpers
Hood hinges
Hood louvers
Numerous interior items
Exhaust system
Brake work
