Treasurer's Report:
Cathy and Bob unable to be at the meeting, so we passed around for all
to read. Balance of account $2,623.12. and World of Wheels fund is
$400.00
Secretary's Report:
Doug unable to be at the meeting, Minutes read by Greg.
Member News:
President's Report:
Greg handed out the recent Legislative Updates from the Car Council, in
regard to bills before the state. A single license plate mounted on the
back of
collector cars are now okay.
The A.C.E.S. organization is now officially closed up.
The Hot Wheels
Collectibles Toy Show event:
Next Toy Car Show at Cherry Hills Event Center, 7050 N 102nd Circle,
Omaha NE. Sunday April 21, 2013; 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Admission: $3.00.
Under 12 years old free.
World of Wheels event: Move in date: March 14th, Thursday noon to when
ever.
New Business:
• Car Shows:
- Team Lowe’s
for MDA April 6th at Lowe’s in Papillion
- The
Children’s Museum is looking for 4 or 5 cars for their event coming up
March 22nd.
- The Zoo is
looking for cars for Father’s Day – A two day event, June 15th
& 16th. Contact Rachell McClain 402-738-2007 if interested.
- Mid America
Chevelle Club Show is September 27th and 28th. The event will be moving
from Olathe, KS to The Westglenn Shopping Center, 16501 Midland Drive
in
Shawnee KS. The only hotel in the area is The Hampton Inn at 16555
Midland Drive. Their phone number is 1-913-248-1900.
